For anyone taking the interest, thank you very much for your time and help.
Here’s the 9 or so albums and 8 or so music posters I’m hoping to ID from the Chelsea Drug Store and Moloko Plus Milkbar in A Clockwork Orange (see image below). I’ll leave this page up for a while in case anyone’s interested when the larger analysis becomes available (I’ll make a note of it here), which I’m hoping will be before the end of the year. You can write me at eyescream237 (at) gmail (dot) com, with subject line “Chelsea and Moloko Mysteries”, if you have any insight. Thanks.
I’ll also post the correct IDs here to save everyone time, as we go.
- B2 has been ID’d as T. Rex’s Ride A White Swan EP
- B3 has been ID’d as Motown Chartbusters, Vol. 4
- C2 has been ID’d as Warm by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass
I’ve gotten twelve more on my own. So far they’ve all been from between 1968 and 1970. And a few of the posters I’ve ID’d were covers and inserts from underground magazines of the time.
I’ve cropped the former image to simplify the visual.
Other albums with only partial visibility: A3/4, A5, A6, C6. Also, the D row (and C4/C7) are mainly posters which may or may not feature music acts. D7 shows a woman walking by with an album, folded open to show its insides. I suspect this one would be near impossible to get.
