SYMBOLIC SIGNIFICANCE

I never bothered to look into this (seemed like a reference to Danny’s love of the show Emergency!, as discussed below). But it’s interesting that Durkin would be attached to Danny both in this way, and in the way he has cartoons playing in his business.
